Seeking an experienced Parking Officer to contract through to the end of Summer with opportunity for extension

Your new company
This local council services communities along the beach South of Melbourne. They are passionate about the future of their city, the people who are part of it and ensure their staff are happy at work. Employees are pushed to reach their potential, learn new skills and gain a wide range of experiences. They are currently seeking and experienced Parking Officer to join on a long-term temporary basis to support this Local Council through to the end of Summer and potentially further.

Your new role
As a parking officer, you will be responsible for enforcing local parking legislation by ensuring compliance with parking regulations and issuing infringements for overstay and illegally parked vehicles - such as vehicles parked in clear ways, bus zones and disabled zone without a permit. You will be assigned a designated area where you will patrol by foot and/or car. You will also be educating the general public about parking laws and restrictions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent time management and people skills and enjoy the outdoors. You also MUST have experience working as a Parking Officer and valid drivers' licence.

What you'll get in return
Be welcomed into a friendly and supportive team of like-minded individuals. You will be paid weekly plus superannuation working full-time hours. The contract can be extended depending on availability and performance.
