The Position:

• Milton location

• $45 per hour + super

• Permanent opportunity



The Company:

Our client is a leading National company who specialise in mining solutions. Based in Milton you will be reporting the Project Manager where you will be supporting the business across the life cycle of the contracts.



The Position:

You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager, you main duties will include:

  • Prepare subcontract Terms and Conditions packages using standard forms and coordinate issuance with project manager
  • Review supplier’s commercial clarifications and non-conformances;
  • Prepare the contract document(s) conforming agreed changes to the package
  • Perform contract administration activities - bank guarantees, insurances
  • Create, maintain and review contract information register
  • Review and evaluate variations and EOT claims, prepare recommendations for approval of management and prepare contract amendments, as required
  • Perform other relevant functions in the Contracts & Purchasing Department as assigned by the Contracts Manager



The Person:



To be successful in this business you will have:

• Strong communications skills and presentation skills

• A strong financial background within contracts administration

• Tertiary qualifications within Project management

• Able to manage the full contract cycle

• Experience with large scale projects

• Thorough understanding of procurement and commercial contract structure and documents

• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

• Intermediate MS Office

• Experience in head contract and supplier contract administration (in pre-award / post award)
