Part-time Payroll Specialist | Circa $100k package

This is a rare opportunity for a part-time payroll officer to work for one of Australia’s most reputable ASX companies who have experienced considerable growth. They are a dynamic and exciting company, highly profitable and very focused on further international growth.  

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a high performing Payroll and HRIS team - with a major focus on innovation. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Payroll & HRIS Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end payroll function.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include: 
  • The seamless delivery of compliant and accurate fortnightly & monthly payrolls
  • Completing legislative requirements including PAYG, Superannuation and WorkCover
  • Working alongside the HR, Finance, management and staff regarding all payroll related matters
  • Calculating and maintaining leave balances
  • Interpreting and applying awards and contracts
  • Preparing detailed payroll records, reports and documents for Finance and Operations
  • Assisting with end of month, end of year processes
The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
  • 5+ years end to end payroll experience
  • Exposure to high volume / fast-paced Payroll environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Should you be available to start work without a notice it will be viewed as advantageous
  • Ascender experience will be highly regarded, as will the use of larger ERP/Payroll systems
