ABOUT THE JOB

Multiple fixed term full time opportunities are available for driven and motivated sales and services professionals to join the reservation team at Rottnest Express. This position is responsible for interacting and liaising with customers to make bookings whilst providing courteous, prompt and accurate customer service to internal and external customers. You will provide high quality guest services and experience through greeting and assisting guests upon their arrival at the terminal.


Requirements


As a Reservations Clerk, you are the 'face' of Rottnest Express and first point of contact for our guests. Your role is key to ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Some of your daily tasks may include:

  • Providing high quality guest service and experience.
  • Assisting guests with general enquiries and bookings.
  • Performing various tasks including check-in, cash handling and IT tasks.
  • General housekeeping around the terminal ensuring a high level of presentation standards.
  • Review and respond to any customer feedback and complaints.

To be successful in this position you will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the tourism and hospitality industry is highly desirable. Current Senior First Aid and driver's license required.

This position requires long periods of time on your feet and lifting. The successful applicant will require flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays. A uniform will be provided to allow you to maintain professionalism and personal presentation in line with our company personality.
