To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Tingalpa DC team as an Inventory Controller on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this role will see you ensuring that optimum inventory levels and accurate inventory records are maintained in order for employees to make informed decisions that benefit the business.

Key Accountabilities:
People-

  • Work closely within the inventory team to provide support in managing sales demand and ensuring all efforts are made to satisfy sales expectations.
  • Work closely with the supply and transport providers to ensure continuity and prioritisation of inventory requirements.

Health & Safety-

  • Encourage and promote PepsiCo Australia’s Health and Safety Policy within the workplace by ensuring attainment of the safety KPIs. Ensure the performance of, and actively participate in, site safety walks, tool boxes and other meetings where safety is a topic.
  • Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people.

Cost-

  • Assist in the management and execution of stocktake (internal and external), POS stocktake and damages reporting including posting, reconciliation variance analysis and consolidation of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory discrepancy transactions on SAP (Including Van discrepancies and returns) with the correct approvals.

Service-

  • Mange daily stock In transit and set priority of warehouse unload activities. Follow up with the DC Manager and/or freight service provider/3rd party warehouse to expedite shipments where necessary.
  • Monitor and report on all matters of site inventory including low code, out of stock, transit and availability, to ensure employees are able to make informed decisions to benefit business goals.
  • Assist the Inventory Manager in managing all aspects of the trade marketing activities including posting, reconciliation variance analysis and consolidation of supporting documentation.
  • Execute the daily transfer requirements for regional distribution centers.

Quality-

  • Execute QA/HOLD procedures, ensuring accurate system control, documentation and physical isolation of all QA/HOLD inventory.
  • Ensure the generation and monitoring of Inventory reports to ensure accuracy and security of inventory including “Interlocation Transfer Documentation’, “Stock Accuracy” and “PI difference by Storage Location Reports”.
  • Maintain & update the product returns process to ensure our company policy is being maintained.

Environment-

  • Monitor and ensure adequate supply of cartons for repack in order to minimise dumped inventory.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced computer skills
  • Knowledge of SAP, inventory control procedures, WMS & TM1
  • Prior experience in inventory control management (internal auditor certification advantageous)
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a wider team environment
