ENT Surgeon

The Position:

Use your expertise to problem solve in one of the most sophisticated areas of the body, responsible for essential functions such as swallowing, eating and drinking.

As an ENT Surgeon you will examine, diagnose and provide treatment options for patients of all ages. Join a team of doctors and health professionals passionate about providing quality ENT and hearing services to the community. Promote an open communication environment to optimise services and interaction between departments.

The Hospital:

This level 1 public hospital supports medical and surgical inpatients, with 3 surgical theatres and an endoscopy suite. There emergency department is the regional trauma centre, equipped to manage all urgent referrals. There is also an ICU, a day unit, a dialysis unit, a chemotherapy unit and an 18 bed rehabilitation and palliative care unit. The surgical team includes orthopaedics, general and ENT surgeons with other specialists visiting as required to support patient needs.

The Region:

The site is in Regional Victoria with easy flight access to Melbourne and Adelaide. Great weather, scenic region, and plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation.

The location is well-situated with a large shopping district, excellent sporting and cultural options, frequent local events, well-reputed public and private schools.

Skills & Experience:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Fellowship with Royal Australian College of Surgeons - ENT Specialty
  • Demonstrated extensive clinical expertise and supervisory skills as a consultant level ENT
  • Demonstrable strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and empathic practice for a patient’s care journey
