Horticultural Support Officer

About the role

The Horticultural Support Officer will have the opportunity to provide support, training and motivation to a small team of horticultural employees with disability and mental illness. You will be involved in supporting them to develop their careers in the completion of commercial property care. 

The role is located within the Midvale to Mandurah areas working hours are 6.30 am – 2.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

  • Gardening essentials (pruning, soil conditioning, mulching & composting, weeding & weed control, mowing & edging lawns, pest & disease control, planting)
  • Fine detailing and finishing of gardens
  • Irrigation installation and management
  • Native bushland conservation

About You

  • Certificate III or above in Horticulture
  • 5 years' experience in horticultural industry (desirable)
  • Current 'C' class driver's license
  • Medium Rigid licence would be advantageous
  • Senior First Aid certificate
