Relationships & Oversight Manager, Corporate Trustee Services (Sydney or Melbourne)

About the role:

We are looking for an exceptional Relationships & Oversight Manager to manage all aspects of relationship building and operational compliance within the Equity Trustees compliance framework for an allocated group of corporate fiduciary clients.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of operational compliance and oversight within the Equity Trustees compliance framework for an allocated group of corporate fiduciary clients.
  • Respond to ad hoc client queries, generate creative, workable solutions to complex business issues that arise during the normal course of business.
  • Project manage all client and fund changes including new client take on, new fund take on, change of service providers, custody and administrator transitions, fund terminations.
  • Responsible for review and completion of disclosure document due diligence.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all products and services, funds management investment stories (philosophy, style and process), current investment strategies, industry changes and key performance issues.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • RG146 Compliant (or currently undertaking)
  • Demonstrated experience in the investment/funds management industry supported by a strong level of understanding of custodian and administration services.
  • Proven understanding of the financial markets.
  • Sound knowledge of the monthly, quarterly and yearly data requirements for funds.
  • Proven track record in managing compliance to set criteria.
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to manage a range of clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive professional relationships with clients, service providers, senior executives and colleagues.
  • Understanding of the tax and accounting principles in relation to funds.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
