Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 22 well respected principals across 6 states. The department is recognised throughout the insurance claims industry for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry both locally and overseas.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sydney office for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join the Insurance team.
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in a range of matters focussing on professional indemnity, D&O, management liability, financial lines, construction, complex indemnity disputes and high value litigated claims. The role will involve coverage advice and defence work for a diverse range of domestic and London market clients.
You will work as part of a highly effective and collegiate team and have assistance from a team of talented lawyers. You will also enjoy the benefit of strong resources, an "open door" policy and a competitive salary.
The role will suit a litigation and insurance specialist with extensive experience in professional indemnity claims, directors and officers liability, financial institutions claims and complex general liability litigation. Furthermore, you will possess strong communication and mentoring skills as well as a focus on client service.
