Sr Consultants - Planning & Scheduling Software

Are you an experienced Consultant who understands the requirements and complexities of planning and scheduling processes within the transport (bus and train) industry?  Do you want to work with an international software company providing innovative solutions to address the pain points of these functions? Does a company culture based on integrity, strong worth ethics, collaboration, and customer focus excite you?  Then this could be the role for you!

We are exclusively representing an international software company with a strong reputation and body of work in a niche industry sector.  Their product is well respected in the Government and Enterprise space, they are well established in the Australian market, and they have all the technical knowledge and support to continue winning clients throughout the region.  Now they need you to join them in this role and contribute to their further growth and success!

Reporting to (and taking guidance from) the Professional Services Manager, this specialist role works with a small team of skilled professionals to provide expert Planning & Scheduling consulting to customers and prospects in the public transport industry, including the deployment of Planning & Scheduling solutions, operational scheduling, schedule optimization for competitive tenders, training, and support.

Key responsibilities include the configuration and advanced operation of a world-class Planning & Scheduling product, liaising with clients to identify and confirm professional services opportunities, and identifying, testing, and approving new product improvements.

The role will also require travel to client sites within Australia and overseas.

We're looking for a driven and passionate Consultant with the following:

  • Relevant commercial experience in public transport planning and scheduling.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in Planning and Scheduling.
  • Deep understanding of transport related scheduling problems and issues.
  • Experience delivering “how to” training to clients that result in high customer satisfaction and correct product use, and minimizes subsequent support demands.

This is a full-time role based in the Brisbane CBD.  A competitive salary package will be negotiated for the successful candidate.

If this appeals to you and your background, please APPLY NOW by sending your resume (in MS Word format).

Shortlisted candidates will be given a full PD and client details.
