Assistant Manager - Employment Solutions

About this position….

As the Assistant Manager of DSA's Employment Solutions services you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations for our Mascot site. You will be supported by a team responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with job seekers, employers and the broader community.

DSA’s Employment Solutions team offers support to people with a disability to gain and maintain employment through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the Disability Employment Service (DES).

To suit this position you will have….

  • Experience in managing or coordinating a successful service, preferably employment support;
  • A passion for enhancing the lives of people with a disability through sustainable employment;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and/or DES the scheme's ongoing requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, direct and support teams including remote workers;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Proven experience in delivering on set targets and KPIs, driven to achieve and exceed expectations;
  • An ability to interpret data, identify actions and implement improvement strategies;
  • A customer-focused approach, placing people with a disability at the centre of planning and service delivery;
  • Experience developing strategies for marketing job-seekers into sustainable employment and effective post-placement support;
  • A tenacious, resilient and positive attitude.
