About the opportunity

Utilising your strong leadership skills, you will be responsible for supporting, mentoring and growing a skilled and motivated team of Support Coordinators to provide high quality, customer centric services to NDIS participants.

You will have established networks within the disability services sector and the ability to foster relationships within the NDIS and the broader community and mainstream services sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your knowledge and skills to influence NDIS service delivery within Uniting’s Support Coordination services across Metropolitan Melbourne and contribute to the ongoing development of consumer directed services.

Position Description

About you

We are looking for people with strong management skills and demonstrated experience in supervising and coaching a high performing team to monitor performance and achieve KPI’s.

You will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to respond to the needs, feedback and enquiries of NDIS participants and their carers where appropriate in a sensitive and supportive manner. In addition to this, you will have an extensive understanding of NDIS legislation and guidelines and the ability to apply these to best practice service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage your time effectively. You will be proficient in the use of technology and systems including Microsoft Office suite, Client Management systems and other online platforms.

A qualification at Diploma/Degree level in a relevant health and community services/ social science course are the minimum professional requirements.
