Marketing Executive

Melbourne Victory Football Club is a professional football club in Australia's Hyundai A-League, based in Melbourne.

Working closely with the General Manager, Marketing & Public Relations, the role will be responsible for activation of marketing plans, tactical advertising and campaign generation, with a sales focus to support all key internal departments.

Passion and energy; someone who has a burning desire to work in the fast-paced and always evolving sports and entertainment industry.

Collaborative; someone who approaches marketing by thinking in terms of integrated, interconnected, interaction and how they affect each other.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience implementing integrated marketing plans with retail, consumer & brand outcomes
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and channel planning
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. Adobe In-design or Photoshop skills are a plus but not essential
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work well under pressure within set deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound work ethic with a flexible and accessible approach, given the dynamic nature of the sports industry

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience at a similar level.
  • Tertiary qualified in marketing and communications or related field.
