What do we do?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Limited (IUIH) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisation, which leads the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care for the Indigenous population of the South East Queensland region.

IUIH and its Members serve Australia’s largest and fastest growing Indigenous populations, predicted to reach 131,000 in 2031.

As a Transport Driver, you will play an important role in our overall customer service delivery within our MATSICHS clinics. Within this role you will required to safely transport IUIH clients to and from appointments.

About the Role:

  • Timely pick up and transporting of clients from and to home, as well as in line with client requirements, i.e. other medical and health appointments, as scheduled
  • Ad hoc and emergency pick up of clients as requested
  • Maintain a log/record of all journeys/pick ups
  • Provide clients with respectful and courteous transport services.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and working in collaboration with the Office Manager to ensure maintenance of vehicles and reporting of any damage to vehicles

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
  • Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (Ideal)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
