Program Director

Exclusively retained to C-Suite Partners - Executive Search firm.

 

C-Suite Partners has been exclusively retained on an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive to lead a nation-wide time and attendance rostering solution as St John of God Health Care’s National Program Director.

 

The purpose of this position is to lead a significant organisation-wide program of work that will transform St John of God Health Care’s payroll and rostering systems and achieve efficient end-to-end workforce processes. The successful Program Manager, therefore, needs to have highly developed relationship management skills, with an ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, whilst developing a team of high-performing project managers.

 

This is a key strategic position, accountable for:

  • The successful delivery of the workforce Program within program constraints and in compliance with the Program Management methodology
  • Reviewing the current scope, approach, team structure and resourcing, alongside the recommendations from the two recent reviews, making recommendations to the Steering Committee and implementing agreed recommendations
  • Defining and planning the overall program of delivery, including identifying and managing interdependencies between projects within and external to the program
  • Defining and implementing the program management governance structures and processes in accordance with the prescribed Program Management methodology
  • Consolidating financial management and reporting of program activities including the tracking of estimates, actuals and forecasts

 

Reporting directly into the Group Director of Digital and Technology, the Program Director will act as a mediator between stakeholders and their team, supporting caregiver development and training through effective leadership, mentoring, coaching and change management skills developed through their track record of success in leading large, complex technology programs, preferably within the healthcare sector.

 

Background & Qualifications: 

  • Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Project or Program Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience managing time and attendance rostering programs of work, with a strong preference for those with direct experience with Kronos
  • PRINCE2, Agile Scrum or equivalent Project Management qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading large and complex technology programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams with disparate skillsets
  • Direct experience or a sound understanding of the healthcare industry highly regarded
