Full-time casual Call Centre Team Support role with immediate start, located central Gold Coast

Your new company
Our client manages a long-standing call centre operation within the automotive sector. They have established relationships with key suppliers and there is strong pipeline of business secured for the next 12 months. A new opportunity is available for a Customer Service/Team Support. Due to the nature of this business they have seasonal trends throughout the year where their work is seen as more in demand, therefor experiencing an influx of calls at last minute.

Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting a team of contract centre operators with the day to day running of business. Working alongside another team lead and reporting to the Section Manager, at any one time you will support 5-15 customer service temps and manage their daily workflow. In quiet periods you will be happy to jump on the phones and take on the role of customer service.

  • You will motivate your team to achieve high standards of customer service
  • Ensure that all calls and emails are actioned within the agreed time frames
  • Oversee daily workflow ensuring the team is aware of their tasks for the day
  • Oversee the efficient handling of customer enquiries, bookings and customer feedback
  • Guide the team to ensure the accurate record and management of critical customer information
  • Assist with weekly reporting through Google spreadsheets


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service background, particularly dealing with a high volume of requests or inquiries. You will be flexible with your working hours and may be asked to start earlier some days at 7am. Previous admin experience with Excel or Google Spreadsheet will aid to your success with weekly reporting. You will enjoy a varied role and will be both proficient and accurate with the input of data. The ability to engage with a variety of personalities while providing an exceptional level of service.
