About the Opportunity

Our Central Operations Unit Team is expanding and we are seeking a friendly, hardworking candidate who is able to work independently and within a team environment to manage day-to-day and production operations in the most effective manner. You will be based at our Head Office in the Sydney CBD.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a professional level of support in administrative functions
  • Promptly, accurately and efficiently processing internal and external transactions
  • Compliance tasks including actioning external requests relating to garnishee orders, liquidations and deceased accounts
  • Running, reviewing and actioning reports
  • Opening and maintaining controlled monies and broker accounts
  • Processing back off payment entries, settlement entries and cheque dishonours
  • Cheque verifications
  • Special answer requests
  • Provide operations support for Electronic Banking and Digital Operations related functions

 

About you

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in Banking operations and / or processing
  • Have strong attention to detail, organisational and problem solving skills.
  • Support team initiatives and build good working relationships
  • Learn systems and processes quickly and efficiently
  • Be able to work independently and within a team environment
