State Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented State Account Manager to join our Convenience & Specialty sales team, based at our NSW state sales office in Lidcombe.

You will be responsible for managing a variety of key customers with NSW including as well as managing the state performance for national Petrol & Convenience banners.

You will take the lead in key initiatives such as:

  • Managing and growing existing accounts in line with the respective channel plans
  • Identifying, developing and executing new commercial opportunities within the channel
  • Conducting business reviews with key accounts to identify challenges and opportunities and present forthcoming category plans as a strategic partner
  • Achieving sales / spend to agreed targets within key customers at a state level
  • Building strong relationships with key accounts at both Head Office and Operational levels

Key selection criteria:

  • Strong sales focus, with a background in account management
  • Willingness to learn, paired with a strong work ethic
  • Proven influencing, relationship‐building and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to clearly communicate results to key stakeholders within the business
  • High levels of drive, energy and self‐motivation

Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential.
