ELICOS Receptionist

ELICOS RECEPTIONIST

Located on the river at Kangaroo Point, Shafston International College is the largest English Language College in Queensland with one of the most diverse student populations in Australia.

We are seeking a suitable candidate to join the reception desk as an administrative officer where you will provide administrative assistance to Shafston International College and deliver a high standard of reception and client services to students and prospective students.

This is a full-time position that offers an ideal opportunity for the right applicant to work in a friendly and professional environment.

To be successful you will need:

  • minimum 12 months in an office where reception was a key part of your responsibilities;
  • strong proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, social media and the internet;
  • excellent organisational skills with attention to detail;
  • excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision; and
  • a positive and friendly attitude.

You will be responsible for:

  • managing and directing telephone and desk queries;
  • liaising with international students;
  • coordinating student extra-curricular activities;
  • using the Student Management System for data entry and payment/receipt of payments;
  • general office duties and managing student files; and
  • administrative / secretarial support to assist the Director of Studies – ELICOS.
