The role is a career position with exciting prospects as the Centenary Group is on a growth path with a fantastic culture and a supportive team. Successful applicants will be interested in using technology and systems in accounts payable and receivable to provide excellent customer service and facilitate timely creditor payments. Remuneration for the role will be assessed on relevant experience, offering the  Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010 (MA000002), Level 2 year 1 $44,850 up to $50,904 PA plus superannuation.

  

Duties

  • High volume Accounts Payable invoice entry 1,500 – 2,000 per month on behalf of two separate legal entities and payment allocations.
  • Accounts receivable data entry: customer payment allocation, credits, and contra invoices.
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Debtor finance facility reconciliation.
  • Interact with Therefore document management software to process, query and respond to accounts payable invoices.
  • Respond to customer account queries.
  • General finance tasks as required: banking, mail, data entry.
  • Undertake general ad hoc administrative tasks as requested

 

Experience and Expectations:

  • Relevant industry experience in automated accounts payable processes and systems. Preferred not essential.
  • Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and CSV import file structures
  • Outlook: personal organisation features
  • Digital and paperless document management
  • Strong written language skills
  • Friendly phone manner
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to quality which includes a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • A 'can-do' and proactive nature and work style able to identify and implement process efficiencies.
  • Conscientious attention to detail.
