About the roles

In these role you will support, coordinate and develop marketing initiatives and work with all staff within the Marketing and Communications Unit to ensure student recruitment and research and reputation related marketing initiatives are executed successfully for Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Education and Arts and the English Language Foundation Centre. Working closely with stakeholders, you will manage expectations and deliver multiple projects in a timely manner. As key members of the Faculty Marketing team, you will:

Faculty Marketing Officer – HEW 5

  • Support the planning and execution of Faculty or ELFS marketing requirements;
  • Work closely with the Faculty Marketing Advisor and Coordinator to review and monitor the success of marketing activity and update stakeholders on marketing progress or results;
  • Support the planning and coordination of activities and resources to promote Faculty degree programs, pathways programs and Faculty specific initiatives;
  • Support and occasionally participate in UON engagement activities, including school and community engagement, expo’s, information sessions and Open Day as required.

Faculty Marketing Coordinator – HEW 6

Job Ref # 4149

  • Coordinate the development and execution of Faculty marketing requirements and support the development of Faculty marketing strategy;
  • Liaise with appropriate teams in the Marketing and Communications unit to ensure successful execution of marketing requirements, in accordance with stakeholder objectives;
  • Plan and coordinate activities and resources to promote Faculty degree programs, pathways programs and Faculty specific initiatives; and
  • Source information from Faculty or ELFS staff to develop content for marketing campaigns, projects and activities.

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude who are eager to forge a career in marketing where creativity and teamwork go together. If you are someone that takes pride in your work, can quickly develop effective working relationships with people within and outside of the University and deliver on commitments and manage expectations, then we want to hear from you. Due to the nature of this role, the University will require the preferred candidate to undertake and pass a Working with Children Check.
