Monash Sport coordinates a wide range of aquatic, indoor & outdoor sport, health, fitness, wellness and social services and activities for University students, staff and the wider community. Through providing these opportunities, we endeavour to enhance the health and well-being of our community and the on-campus experience for our students & staff.

The Opportunity

Monash Sport are seeking a passionate and experienced Events and Services Coordinator to join the team and help deliver high-quality participation events for the community. This position is responsible for the planning and organisation of Monash Sport events, with a particular focus on student participation and engagement in order to enhance their overall university experience.

The Events and Services Coordinator is a key conduit between Monash Sport and the wider University and community, providing effective communications and increasing engagement. You will enjoy joining a team that is passionate about the health and wellbeing of others and will live these values in your daily role.

To be considered for this position, you will display prior experience in running successful participation events, with a strong knowledge of the broader sport and recreation industry. You will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Your friendly demeanour helps you forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to run high-quality sporting events.
