Document Controller

Our client is a leader in global resources, and a proven great place to work, with a strong focus on culture and opportunities to grow.

We are seeking a Document Controller with the ability to step in and and hit the ground running - an opportunity to join a team with exposure to huge projects, with work forecasted to last quite a while after the initial 3 month trial period contract.

Duties:

  • Document Control and management of project information
  • Responsible for the registration, distribution and disposition of project documentation in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance - monitor the proper usage of the project document, data or model management systems and related procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the processes and procedures
  • Deliver a high level of customer service in regard to Project Information Management, and provide hands on assistance to the project team



Required Skills:

  • Excellent time management and task management skills
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Systems oriented
  • Experience working on large scale projects
  • Experience with Aconex and/or Smart Plant preferred
  • Strong computer skills
