We have multiple busy and growing Medical Centres in Newcastle and the lower Hunter Valley and are seeking an energetic & enthusiastic new team member to join our team.
The roles are located in Cessnock/Kurri and Kotara areas.
Only candidates with a friendly ‘people person’ disposition will be considered. You will also have initiative and a can do attitude. We are looking for multi taskers with a solid work ethic.
Your role will involve all areas of admin, reception & patient services, from taking phone calls & responding to emails, scheduling appointments and handling payments, liaising with Medicare, VTA and insurers. You will work closely with our team of General Practitioners, Allied Health, Practice Nurses and support staff to help us provide the highest standard of service and care to our patients.
To apply you will need at least 2 years’ experience and checkable references from employers in the last 2 years. You will need to have experience in Medical Director and PracSoft software and/or Best Practice. You will also need to be proficient in MS Office programs and familiar with Medicare billing and claiming. As all our centres are accredited, it is also preferable you will have experience with the accreditation process.
These are casual positions 1-4 shifts per week of 4-8 hours. The successful applicant MUST be flexible to work both mornings and afternoons, with morning shifts starting at 8:00 am and late shifts ending between 5-6:00 pm. No weekend shifts.
Hourly rate negotiable for the right candidates.
