Accounts Receivable Officer

About us

For several years Buildsafe has successfully provided safety systems and solutions within the building and construction space, with our list of clients being the majority of the states “top” project builders.

Our architecturally designed Head Office is based at Arundel on the Gold Coast, with multiple branches located throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

 

About you

For you to succeed in this role you will have excellent numeracy skills and can see an error a mile away!

You will be a motivated and proactive individual who can provide support to our Credit Control Team Leader whilst providing excellent customer service to our clients.

We are looking for a confident communicator who has the ability to build strong relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

 

About the role

You will be responsible for the coordination and processing of all on/off hire activities.

In your new role, you will be responsible for tasks such as;

  • Completing daily invoicing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Collection and settlement of client debt
  • Ensures all credit/refund requests are prepared in accordance with policy/procedure
  • Assisting with any internal or external invoice queries
  • Applying payments received
  • Review and approve credit applications

 

Skills & key attributes

  • Excellent numeracy/mathematical skills
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Excellent time management
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to identify errors
  • Experience using an Accounting System
  • Team player
