Commercial Accountant

Hi-Vis Group is a growing, family-owned, Carrington based signage manufacturer seeking the services of a Commercial Accountant. We have a national footprint with a diverse customer base working across government, corporate and mining sectors. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this salaried position is on a fulltime basis 5 days per week [Monday - Friday].

This is a varied role that will involve a mixture of both management and financial accounting. The key duties will include:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements & reporting to management
  • General ledger reconciliations of all balance sheet items
  • Statutory reporting – BAS Statements, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, etc.
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Schedules
  • Payroll processing
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Handling customer, supplier & fellow employee enquiries

 To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be degree qualified in Commerce
  • Have completed your CA/CPA professional years
  • Have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience in a commercial accounting role
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience in using Xero, Attache & Epicor software packages is desirable
  • Possess high attention to detail & accuracy
  • Be reliable, confident & friendly
  • Be a team player & can also work independently

An attractive remuneration package plus 9.5% superannuation will be on offer to the successful applicant.

Must have the current right and ability to work in Australia.
