Accountant

Are you looking for a role where you can bring your dog to work, enjoy massages and maybe even try a yoga session? Look no further – Central Finance Management Group could be the place for you.

You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team and reporting directly to the Head of Finance. As a team player with a positive attitude, you will have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field and CA/CPA accreditation;
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience at an Accountant level;
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end accounting processes;
  • Substantial experience with MYOB and advanced capability with Excel;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Solid organisational skills along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
  • The ability to identify process improvements and assist with project implementation.

The role

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing 2IC support to the Head of Finance;
  • Preparing and managing budgets and cash flow forecasts across multiple business units;
  • Managing general ledger account journals and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports;
  • Year-end consolidation and statutory reporting;
  • Assisting with and supporting  internal and external audit processes;
  • Developing and implementing process improvements;
  • Analysing revenue and expenditure;
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies;
  • Full function accounts payable and receivable administration.
