About the Role

This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Asset Engineer to join our Engineering and Maintenance Team. Based in Melbourne (with frequent site visits to Port Campbell) the role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to join our team and lead Lochard’s reliability and maintenance programs for our rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead reliability improvement and condition monitoring programs
  • Lead the equipment strategy by deploying appropriate RCM/SRCM/FMEA techniques
  • Lead the “bad actor” program
  • Ensure life maintenance plans, strategies and preventative maintenance routines are appropriately maintained
  • Ensure equipment strategies enhance the economic life-cycle of equipment
  • Develop, improve and report on failure rates, condition, expenditure and lost production
  • Manage existing and potential reliability problems within the Risk Management framework
  • Provide key stakeholder decisions during the project delivery process
  • Support the shutdown process from planning through to close out

About You

This role will suit an analytically minded and degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer. Ideally you will have:

  • 10 + years’ experience in the hydrocarbon processing industry
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering rotating equipment reliability improvements in an operational environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Reliability Improvement Processes.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Maximo (Maintenance and Reliability modules)
