Insolvency Litigation Lawyer - 2-4 years PAE - Boutique Specialist Firm

  • Specialist Insolvency & Commercial Litigation Firm
  • Local & international clients & work
  • Be a big fish in a small pond!

The Firm

Our client is a boutique specialist Insolvency and Commercial Litigation firm based in the Sydney CBD.  The Partner has extensive experience gained working for years with a national firm and works on high-end insolvency matters with global and local clients. He is a recognised industry leader.

The Role

Our client is currently seeking a 2-4 year PAE Lawyer with insolvency and commercial litigation experience to join its team.

The roles will see you work closely with the Partner on high quality local and international matters.  As a boutique firm you will be exposed to better work and be given greater responsibility on matters more quickly than you would be exposed to at larger firms.  This means you will gain first class experience in this area of law, working closely with an expert in this field.

About You

To be successful in these roles you will have:

  • 2-4 years PAE in insolvency and commercial litigation, gained at a reputable practice;
  • A “roll up your sleeves and get the work done” attitude;
  • A strong academic transcript;
  • The desire and commitment to become an expert in insolvency litigation

The role will also include some front-end restructuring and insolvency work, so some front-end experience will be highly regarded, although is not essential.

You will also be keen to work in a boutique firm, and will be a team player.

Benefits

You will be fortunate enough to work closely with an ex-national firm insolvency Partner, who is a recognised expert in this area of law.  You will be exposed to matters of high quality, be immersed in the work a lot more quickly than at larger firms, and as a result you will gain experience in this area a lot faster than you would at a large firm.

You will enjoy a collegiate environment with no politics, and you will be a valued and integral member of this team, not just a number.

A competitive remuneration package is also on offer for the successful candidate.

To Apply
