About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Administration Officer to join our dynamic team.  Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this role is focused on providing a professional and responsive service to prospective, current and exited consumers. You will be the first touch-point for most consumers and stakeholders interacting with the business. The role focuses on providing over the phone care coordination for consumers or other stakeholders who want to change, cancel or confirm their service. You will also welcome visitors, provide information, direct calls, and other administrative tasks.

About you

We  are looking for a person who can demonstrate:

  • Alignment with Uniting’s values.
  • A minimum two years’ experience in consumer facing and/or telephone enquiries from a diverse consumer and stakeholder base.
  • Strong customer service focus and work ethic.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple complex tasks
  • Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Ability to develop rapport with consumers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good phone manner.
  • Excellent verbal and active listening skills.
  • Confidence and experience in using a Client Information System.
  • Experience using MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Administration, Social Services or Office Administration
