QA/QC Inspector

The Project:

AGC are now seeking experienced QA/QC Inspectors to join AusGroup on one of our major projects in Karratha. 

We are seeking qualified Inspectors with either Painting & Insulation backgrounds. 

The Role:

To work in a supporting role to monitor and supervise work to ensure that all tasks needed for completion of the Project(s) are accomplished effectively well within the approved cost, schedule, quality and performance criteria.    

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform inspections in accordance with inspection & test plan
  • Recording and verification of painting operations to qualified WPS as per schedule and at-random audit
  • Coordinate and manage repairs and maintain welder repair register
  • Ensure consumables are correctly stored and maintained, as per manufacturer’s recommendations
  • Calibration of inspection and testing equipment as required
  • Implementing and working to the quality management system procedures and work instructions
  • Ensuring full compliance to Standards and Client Specifications
  • Compile manufacturer’s data reports as required
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming products

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Inspection qualifications relevant to discipline
  • Strong Painting background in QA/QC
  • ICORR AND NACE 2
  • Management /Supervisory experience of meeting HSEQ, People and Production priorities, including the interfaces with internal client and customers
  • Current valid Driver’s licence
