What’s the role?
 
The Turnaround Block Execution Lead is responsible for planning and field execution of all scopes in a defined area. You will ensure turnaround activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved premises, work processes and standards.
 
You will work with work preparers, planners, schedulers, Contractors, Shell Operations, and Project and Discipline Engineering Groups during the planning phase. You will transition into a Field Coordinator during the execution phase.
 
Some of the key deliverables and responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Responsible in delivering effective Turnaround within the area to achieve targeted budget, scope and schedule.
  • Support work scope collection, scope challenge, and selection.
  • Coordinate the detailed scope and execution plan for all scope in the area.
  • Review work packages by work preparers, planners and schedulers to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Support the development of the environmental plan, turnaround facilities and logistics plans.
  • Direct field activities during Turnaround execution, including participation in shift turnover meetings while working with all the TA field Coordinators Contractor, Shell Operations, Project and Discipline Engineering Groups and daily report out on progress.

What we need from you:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in Maintenance and/or Turnaround.
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of campaigns or Turnaround scopes in a major refinery or gas processing facility. Ideally with relevant Offshore experience.
  • A background in production operations and/or maintenance execution with a strong understanding of key processes.
