Our client is an established Transport & Logistics company, with an opportunity available within the Melbourne team. They have a newly created position for a highly motivated finance professional to work closely with senior stakeholders throughout the business and assist with the preparation of month end reports, bank reconciliations and management of financial data.

Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the finance team, in so performing the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation and reconciliation of inter entity allowances
  • Provide analysis in relation to the Pricing Report
  • Daily processing of bank statements into SAP and reconciliation
  • Maintain Fixed Asset and Leasing Registers
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly P&L reporting including posting of journals entries into SAP
  • Preparing the pricing reports for the states as allocated and follow up of issues arising from the management reports
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Preparation of ABS Surveys
  • Intercompany Invoicing
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as required

Profile

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, finance professional with a passion for the Transport & Logistics industry. Exposure to a Transport & Logistics organisation will be beneficial, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment essential. Communication skills and a passion for the transport industry are paramount, working towards a CA or CPA qualification, strong excel skills and exposure to SAP are preferred.
