This fast growing Australian business is located in Norwest Business Park and operates across multiple sectors as a FMCG & Retail business. They have experienced year on year growth and have a strong pipeline of high level projects in place with some of Australia's most well-known companies. 


About the role 


Due to current and projected growth, they are looking to boost their finance function with a strong Financial Accountant.  Reporting in to the Commercial Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:    

  • Supervision of an Assistant Accountant
  • Inter-company Consolidations
  • Statutory Accounts & Tax (BAS/FBT)
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting for management;
  • Prepare reporting and analysis to the business partners
  • Reconciliation of inter-company charges
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals
  • Prepare accurate monthly, weekly and quarterly forecasts
  • Financial reporting (operations and project accounting) 
  • Creation and delivery of management reports
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects

Skills and Experience 

  • CA / CPA qualified or studying towards
  • Experience across both financial and management accounting
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
  • Experience in the FMCG or Retail industry is highly regarded 
  • Excellent communication skills
