Level 1 Helpdesk Representative

HVAC Consolidated is a Shared Services Company for a group of associative air conditioning & heating companies that provide services and solutions throughout the HVAC industry, from domestic to commercial alike. In order to drive continuous improvement within our business, we're now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Level 1 Helpdesk Representative to join our IT team in a key role based at our Clayton head office.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end users, providing support across our business, resolving a range of technical issues for a variety of technologies.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Providing Level 1 technical support to clients via telephone, email and in person;
  • Supporting and coordinating site installations;
  • Coordinating the IT on boarding of new employees, including device and computer setup;
  • Logging all call activities in the company database system
  • Escalating any issues for further troubleshooting until the problem is resolved.

As the successful candidate, you will possess:

  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • A strong desire to learn;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise work accordingly.

Knowledge and experience in the following will also be highly regarded:

  • IT Service Desk experience;
  • Experience supporting Microsoft products e.g. Windows 10, Windows Server, Office, Active Directory and Exchange mailbox management;
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems, networks, and appropriate business software applications;
  • ITIL Foundation qualification.
