Assistant Brand Manager

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Brand Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team based in our Richmond office.

The Role:  Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the equity, growth and profitability for the BB portfolio of brands through brand strategy development & implementation of annual brand plans. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment, likes to be challenged, and values the opportunity to make a difference.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Undertake ownership and accountability for a core strategic pillar within the BB brand as well as development and implementation of strategic category and brand plans for this portfolio;
  • Contribute to the development of all national BB communications campaigns including media, PR, events/sponsorships;
  • Work closely with the winemaking, production, sales and export teams to identify opportunities for brand growth and profitability, managing projects from idea to post launch evaluation;
  • Undertake data analysis and reporting;
  • Manage brand-led events and sponsorship enquiries and support the Brand team on the implementation of brand activations;
  • Maintain brand assets (eg image library);
  • Manage budgets; and
  • Lead award amplification by creating a program to drive awareness of our accolades.

 

About you:  To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or business-related field
  • Experience in a corporate environment in a marketing role, preferably in FMCG
  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, interpersonal, negotiation
  • Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to be collaborative, flexible & work well under pressure
  • Exposure to project management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Flexibility to travel to Milawa (King Valley) and interstate semi-regularly
  • An interest in wine
