You make a difference by:

As the P&C Advisor for hipages, you are responsible to deliver an exceptional and unique employee experience where all who enters our home get to do their best work everyday.

Working full-time and reporting to the Head of P&C Operations, you will quickly become an integral member of our fun, hard-working, award winning and collaborative team. You will proactively partner with the hipages team as a trusted advisor championing our employee experience and manage our home and office experience team.  You will innovate and implement value-add via improvements and automation in all our people processes including internal communications, policies, systems, data capturing, reporting and analysis and help us to continually evolve and improve our overall employee experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

HR & Engagement - (approx 80% of your time) 

  • Be a trusted advisor to the business by supporting all employees with their P&C queries and requests and have a strong understanding of our policies, processes and fair work conditions;

  • Assist the team in our performance management & salary review processes;

  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback & surveys, employee competitions and other employee engagement initiatives;

  • Maintain our HRIS people data & employee files and ensuring this is 100% up to date and accurate at all times;

  • Manage ad hoc projects such as our monthly newsletter, our benefits & wellbeing program and reward & recognition program;

 

Office Facilities & WHS - (approx 20% of your time)

  • Provide leadership and support to our 2 Office Experience Assistants (1 FT & 1 PT);

  • Manage our office facilities (2 floors - 2nd level is occupied by 3 separate tenants) and liaise with building management to ensure the office facilities are in top shape, safe and clean at all times;

  • Manage our Workplace Health & Safety requirements, including our First Aid Officers and Fire Wardens. Your role includes you becoming Chief Fire Warden and Primary First Aid Officer ensuring 100% compliance and effective team member injury management;

  • Keep our office running at peak efficiency and maximum awesomeness by assisting to organise our fantastic in-house team events and ensuring our kitchen is stocked with drinks, fruit, breakfast & snacks that keep our team fuelled and happy.

 

You bring:

  • To be effective in this hybrid role you must be very organised, detail oriented, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities. You are people focused and have a genuine care to add value to hipages and are committed to providing an inclusive and safe work environment.

 

  • You handle our people data with the utmost confidentiality and are obsessed with having our data up to date and learning from the insights our data analysis provides. You are an effective problem solver who provides a high touch experience when advising our people. You are eager to learn and have an excellent work ethic.

 

  • You possess a superior customer service ethic and always respond with a high sense of urgency. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and find it easy to interact with stakeholders at all levels. You have a great attitude and high energy with values that align with our culture. Your "leave it with me, I'll get it done" attitude will be key to your success here. Overall you are PASSIONATE!!! and able to energise the hipages team at our many social and team events as you are driven by exceeding people’s expectations.

 

Your CV:

  • Proven experience as an HR advisor and office manager;

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (or near completion of studies) ;

  • Proven experience in administration (ideally in a office/HR team);

  • Knowledge of facilities management, office management and Work Health Safety processes and best practice;

  • Certified First Aid Officer (we will enable you to obtain this certification if yours has expired or you haven’t done before);

  • Exposure to HR databases, HRIS systems, analysis and reporting and managing intranets (currently Confluence);

  • Strong ability in using the Google suite and Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular);

  • Technically savvy with various software packages (experience with Confluence & Google Suite ideal)
