Superannuation Implementation Officer

SWA Financial Planning is one of the largest non-institutionally owned financial planning firms in the Illawarra and Southern Sydney regions. We are committed to providing the highest quality advice and service to our clients.

We currently have a full time position available for an enthusiastic administration professional to join our Implementation team. 

The main duties of this role include:

  1. Completing electronic lodgements and/or paperwork to implement client financial plans;
  2. Communicating with fund managers and other financial institutions to ensure financial plans are implemented correctly;
  3. Attending to client queries.

The applicant should possess excellent numeracy and analytical skills, should be well presented and able to display an exceptional client service focus. The successful applicant should also possess a critical eye and attention to detail.

Some knowledge of tax entities (trusts, superannuation and pension funds) would be looked on favourably.

This role may also suit a Financial Planning or Commerce graduate as an entry to the Financial Planning industry.

You will have competent IT skills, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. The completion of a relevant university degree (Commerce related) or TAFE courses in Business Administration would be preferred.

Previous experience in an administration role, preferably in financial services would be desirable.
