My client has been widely regarded as a market leader for quite a while now, they have a strategic focus and seem to possess the ability to remain ahead of the curve, due to an internal staff promotion a need has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Officer to come and join the team.



Role

In this role you will be reporting into a Shared Services Manager who is highly engaged and passionate about the team. From a role perspective you will be processing end to end Accounts Receivable, but you can also gain experience in other areas of Finance. This is a role that will enable you to develop your existing skills whilst supporting the broader business!


Duties

  • End to end Accounts Receivable duties
  • Full responsibility of a ledger of mixed clients
  • Negotiation of payment terms as required
  • Reviewing payment terms and agreements as requires
  • Allocation of payments
  • Receipting
  • Reconciliations
  • Month end processes and reporting
  • Identifying bad and doubtful debts and escalating as required



Skills and Experience Required

In order to be considered for this role you will have extensive experience in full function Accounts Receivable. You will have the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, in addition you will require the following:

  • Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal
  • A commercial mindset
  • The ability to work autonomously within a team environment
  • Strong systems experience
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work to a win win solution
