Operations Coordinator

About us

Medical One is Australian owned and operated by doctors and is a leading provider of primary health care services, with 10 centres located in Melbourne, one in Geelong, and a centre in Southern Adelaide. The focus of Medical One is providing the highest quality of ongoing care to our patients.

Our medical centres are fully integrated, and services include general practitioners, pathology, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, dentistry, radiology and visiting specialists. All centres are fully accredited and comply with Australian standards and regulations.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our existing well-structured team to manage and support our medical centres. Reporting to the General Manager, this newly created role will encompass all aspects of multi-site day to day and long-term management, including financial, legal, people management, public relations, marketing and IT. You will also be actively involved in strategic planning and growth planning.

The key to your success will be your critical thinking abilities, as well as your ability to analyse and solve problems ‘on your feet’. You are a planner, an organiser and a doer! You are good at communicating, influencing and leading by example, but with the smarts to delegate when necessary and build teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years operational experience ideally with multi-site management
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An enthusiastic and positive "can-do" attitude as well as passion to drive positive outcomes
  • A high level of emotional intelligence
  • Passion for developing people with a drive to succeed
  • Proven abilities in multi-tasking, time management and critical thinking
  • Exceptional influencing, leading and mentoring ability
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and Photoshop.
  • Practice Management or healthcare industry experience with knowledge of accreditation

If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for, APPLY NOW! Please attach a covering letter and your resume on application for the position.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
