Operations Supervisor

A solution focus will support you as you foster a safe, collaborative and results driven work culture. Providing direction to the team you will conduct tool-box talks, training, mentoring and coaching as well as reviewing productivity, performance and escalating matters for disciplinary action through appropriate channels. Your demonstrated experience in a similar operations or leading hand role will support your success as you manage resources ensuring adequate stock levels of PPE are maintained,  leave is managed and appropriate success planning is undertaken in conjunction with a robust recruitment process, induction and training of new staff.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have proven extensive experience working in similar manager or supervisor environments where you have positively influenced the team, led by example and made health and safety your priority. Your flexibility, adaptability and attention to detail has enabled you to put forward and implement solutions to ineffective processes and procedures to increase efficiencies.Your customer centric approach and previous operational experience working autonomously and managing your time to get the job done will be critical to achieving results in this role.

Your highly effective communication skills support your success in this role as you liaise and engage effectively with your team and stakeholders at all levels. Computer literacy with basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite are essential. A drivers’ licence is required. Demonstrated experience in the waste industry although not essential will be highly regarded.
