THE ROLE

Acting as Virtual IT Manager for several CSG customers, You will be responsible for providing support & management of a mixture of environments, whilst also participating in proactive monitoring and fixes  Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • - Responding to client queries and directing traffic
  • - Proactive Fixes
  • - Problem Management
  • - Manage Configuration Standards (MyITProcess)
  • - Maintain Company Standard Documentation
  • - Technical Maturity Level reporting
  • - Regular Communication (inc Facetime)
  • - Monthly Customer Reports
  • - Quartlery Client Meetings
  • - Site architecture and design/Assisting in scoping projects for Projects Team
  • - Responsible for reduction in incidents
  • - Effective Hourly Rate Awareness (including what is BAU, and what should be quoted)
  • - Customer capacity planning
  • - Periodic Maintenance review
  • - Providing feedback to all CSG teams on breakdowns or client concerns as they get raised.
  • - Shared infrastructure capacity planning

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you must be comfortable supporting & managing the following technologies and have previous experience with some or all of the following: 

  • - Microsoft Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016
  • - Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016
  • - Office 365 and Azure
  • - Hyper-V and VMware
  • - Remote Desktop / Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
  • - All forms of Desktop Support (Win7, Win8.1, Win10)
  • - SAN technologies
  • - Networking experience with Sophos, Unifi, Cisco & Meraki
  • - Commercial experience providing Proactive IT advice
  • - Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining networks and infrastructure
  • - Previous work experience in an Managed Service Provider company is a must.
  • - Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL) will also be highly regarded!

 

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

  • - Managed Services Efficiency $130/hour minimum (Less at TSM discretion)
  • - Customer Satisfaction minimum 8/10 across clients (Client Heartbeat)
  • - Client meetings and Client reports completed within deadlines
  • - Capture 80% of time against clients (6 hours), if less, justification required.
  • - Providing feedback to all CSG teams on breakdowns or client concerns as they get raised.
  • - 100% accurate client documentation.  Responsible for ensuring all client documentation is up to date and available to all CSG teams in the CSG Technology Solutions SharePoint site.
  • - Accurate maintenance and testing plan for every client.
  • - Reoccurring, scheduled client onsite visits & completion of MyITProcess /TML that feeds client roadmaps for IT standards alignment.
  • - Monthly downward trend of incidents through technical alignment, documentation improvements, or other ancillary means.
