PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST (TECHNICAL WRITING)

Summit Southern Cross Power is a subsidiary business of global powerhouse, Sumitomo. Due to a recent business acquisition, we are seeking a Process Improvement Analyst.

Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, the Process Improvement Analyst will consultant stakeholders to evaluate, plan and implement improvements in business processes and practices across multiple departments. They will document business processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across three WA energy businesses.

This position will suit someone who thinks on their feet, likes role diversity and enjoys a hands on dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate workshops to define and document detailed business requirements
  • Support change management and implementation activities
  • Assist with review of business activities
  • Produce written reports and presentations communicating key findings
  • Assist in designing, documenting and maintaining system processes
  • Gather and document requirements for projects
  • Create, update and edit various policies and procedures
  • Produce documentation in multiple formats that are targeted at multiple technical groups
  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and consistent
  • Build relationships to collect data and identify where processes can be improved
  • Develop plans, schedules and budgets for process improvement plans
  • Develop standard operating procedures, documenting workflow and process steps

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification in Business Administration or similar is desirable but not essential 
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Ability to investigate, research, analyse and deliver quality recommendations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
