Medical Receptionist


  • Immediate Start, Full time 
  • Busy and varied day
  • Bondi Junction 
Our client, a leading medical specialist clinic committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients and staff. Currently they are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team.
  
Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Acting as first point of contact to patients
  • Managing inbound calls in a professional manner
  • Booking appointments for patients
  • General administration including patient accounts, banking procedures, account invoicing and debt collection
  • Chasing referrals for surgery and consults and patient results
  • Health fund Checks
  • Booking surgeries and liaising with hospital staff
  • Sending out Quotations
  • Using patient management system and other electronic interfaces
  • Prepare patient surgery and information packs
  • Experience using Blue Chip will be an advantage
The successful candidate will enjoy being part of a team and working in a very fast paced environment. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail, and a can-do proactive attitude. You will also be required to demonstrate compassion, empathy and effective interpersonal skills.
  
Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting will be highly regarded.
