About the business

 

SA Country Basketball Council is a not for profit state sport organisation that administers, develops and promotes Basketball in SA Country regions.  Based at Titanium Security Arena, SA Country Basketball has a dedicated small team that works with Associations to develop the game, provide member support services, manage and conduct the Country Championships, provide support for the upgrade and/or securing of facilities and represents SA Country at state, national and international level.

 

About the role

 

The Membership & Executive Support Officer is the first point of contact for our organisation and support for Associations.  The role is critical in the provision of support and assistance to our Member Associations and the Executive Officer.  Please note this vacancy is due to the staff member being on parental leave.

Skills and experience

 

Communication and interpersonal skills

Customer service skills

Current driving licence

Client Relationship Management Systems (Sports TG), data base, competent computer software skills

Proven experience managing high volumes of data

Organisation skills

Ability to work as part of a small team and independently when required

Ability to maintain confidentiality
