About the position:

 

In addition to our existing ongoing maintenance contracts, AusGroup anticipates securing additional shutdown and maintenance service contracts throughout Western Australia’s resources sector.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Demonstrable experience welding with GTAW, FCAW and SMAW technique
  • Experience working with variety of materials - Carbon, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex
  • Ability to pass a range of weld tests to B31.3 standard
  • Ability to weld in confined spaces (heat exchanges, boilers)
  • Experience working in and around pipe racks

     

    About you:

     

  • Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years recent maintenance/shutdown experience
  • Experience in a live plant environment
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS card (White/Blue card)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space, HRWL – EWP, Forklift, tickets advantageous

As such, AusGroup are currently seeking expressions of interest from Pipe Welders to join our existing Shutdown/Maintenance teams.
