EOI - Rope Access Technician

About the position:

 

In addition to our existing ongoing maintenance contracts, AusGroup anticipates securing additional shutdown and maintenance service contracts throughout Western Australia’s resources sector.

 

As such, AusGroup are currently seeking expressions of interest from Rope Access Technicians to join our existing Shutdown/Maintenance teams.

 

What are we looking for?

  • IRATA Level 1 or above
  • Demonstrable work history as a Rope Access Technician in the resources or applicable heavy industry
  • Must be committed and proactive towards safety 
  • Flexible and adaptable in a challenging environment
  • Willing to helps other trades within the team to perform their duties when required

About you:

  • IRATA Certification 
  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification (Boilermaker & Mechanical Fitter) 
  • Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years recent maintenance/shutdown experience
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS card (White/Blue card)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP & Forklift tickets advantageous
