Supervisor - Belle Epoque

Belle Époque Patisserie is a little piece of Paris. Featuring stunning, bespoke surrounds, including a spectacular bronze Champagne bar, Belle Époque Patisserie offers an authentic French Patisserie experience. Our guests are able to savour delicious patisserie-style breakfast, lunch and dinner options with dine in and takeaway available.

Belle Époque is one of six Food & Beverage offerings within the Emporium Hotel South Bank.   Located in the $600m Southpoint precinct, Emporium Hotel South Bank features 143 luxuriously appointed suites and a spectacular 23m infinity edge pool. 

We are now looking for a Supervisor for Belle Époque Patisserie.

The Belle Époque Patisserie Supervisor will:

  • As the 2IC, work closely with the Belle Époque Patisserie Manager taking responsibility for the successful operation of Belle Époque Patisserie;
  • Ensure the highest levels of service are provided to all guests;
  • Supervise the Belle Époque Team, providing on-the-job training, coaching and support to the team;
  • Liaise with the Food & Beverage Management Team and Kitchen Team, ensuring effective communication and relationships are established and maintained;
  • Maximise the day to day operation ensuring any guest feedback is acted upon and escalated as required;
  • Foster effective communication between all hotel departments.


You will need the following:

  • Experience in a busy restaurant/café environment at a Supervisory or Team Leader level;
  • A passion for Food & Beverage and the desire to work in a five-star hotel environment;
  • Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail;
  • The ability to work a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends;
  • Strong communication skills and highly developed organisational skills;
  • The ability to think on your feet and a solution focused approach to problem solving;
  • A willingness to learn and grow and a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver Exquisite Experiences for our guests, every time, every shift!
  • A current RSA;
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
