HR Cadet

Reflections Holiday Parks is undergoing rapid growth as we look to transform our portfolio of holiday parks into places that inspire all who visit. As the only group of holiday parks who also maintain public recreation reserves, our focus is on providing exceptional visitor experiences. Surpluses generated by Reflections Holiday Parks are used to directly support and revitalise the Group’s holiday parks and surrounding Crown land reserves to ensure that visitors and local communities can enjoy these precious community assets for generations to come.  It is an exciting time to come on board as we look to future proof the business and build awareness of our brand.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual wanting to launch their career in Human Resources. This role is a fundamental part of the HR team that provides administrative support to assist with the successful implementation of all HR Projects, Seasonal Recruitment, Performance Reviews, Employment Relations our HRIS and more.

You will be finishing the second or third year in your degree, possess a willingness to learn, a passion for people and the determination to progress your career. We encourage continued education and will provide regular on-going specialised training and development, as well as financial support to finish your final year of study.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Be a positive first point of contact for human resource enquiries
  • Conduct reference and background checks
  • Maintain accurate personnel records using an in house HRIS
  • Schedule meetings / interviews
  • Assist with coordination of recruitment documents, letters and at times contracts of employment
  • Assist with key HR projects as required
  • Provide operational support across a range of HR functions and processes
  • Assist with coordination of Performance Reviews - schedule, provide Instructions and documentation
  • General administration and ad-hoc duties to support the HR team

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Study towards a Tertiary qualified in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytics and data orientated approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Can do attitude

This is a 2 year fixed term full-time role with flexibility around lecture and tutorial times provided.

The successful applicants may be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre- Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity or will have to provide evidence of recent successful assessments. Additionally, they will have the right to work in Australia, and be able to provide evidence of this.
