UI/UX Web Designer-6 Month+ Contract-$Neg




  • Utilize service design, wireframe, persona, user flows/journeys, storyboarding
  • Lead UX Designs across digital products, multiple channels/devices
  • High profile Digital Reform Program


This is a great opportunity for an experienced UI/UX Designer to work autonomously to interact with stakeholders and facilitate workshops and meetings to focus on discussions relating to user experience and perform end-to-end design of various online services and portals for our clients large Digital Reform Program.

What you will bring to this role including your key responsibilities-; 


• Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a UI/UX Designer
• Demonstrated experience around service design, wireframe designs, persona, user flows, storyboarding and user journeys
• A successful track record in similar large digital projects > $3M
• Strong experience leading UX Designs across digital products , multiple channels and devices
• Strong understanding of UX approach to digital products, WCAG 2.0 and UX/UI principles
• Strong experience in creating UI/UX designs in line with NSW Digital Design standards and style guides
• Experience with consultation, research, user testing
• Experience applying Agile practices
• Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant user interfaces
• Ability to create concept models and detailed schematics
• Demonstrated communication skills, facilitation skills, design and documentation skills;
• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means;
• High level interpersonal and relationship building skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
• Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the project, its environment and related issues;
• Understanding of UX principles, research and user-centered approach.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal and external clients to provide the best possible service.
• Previous experience with JIRA tool


An understanding or a prior track record working and delivering solutions in government organizations would be well regarded, particularly experience within the NSW Justice legal courts & tribunal sector/s.
